Landaal Packaging Systems has just taken receipt of their newest production model UV Flatbed Printer. The OCE Arizona 550 XT is a true flatbed by definition with a focus on quality. The impressive 98” x 120” bed size allows Landaal the versatility to handle almost any short run print request and deliver award-winning print quality.
“The graphic display marketplace is changing and our customers are initiating more programs but with smaller order quantities,” Notes Terry Choate, the sales and Operations Planning Manager for Landaal Packaging Systems. “By offering cost efficient, high quality, digitally printed displays we are able to ensure that they get a positive return on investment regardless of the run size.”
The printer is Landaal Packaging Systems second digital printer in as many years. “The demand justified the purchase as our original unit was running 16 hours a day,” Choate added.
In addition to the new digital printer, Landaal also invested in their third cutting machine. The Pro Cut Series by Zund enables Landaal to streamline the workflow from the printer to the cutter for seamless transition on all production runs. The unit also is fully equipped with optical recognition system that allows for 100% cut accuracy.
